A minor detail: Please be aware that the City does not permit cones or any other items to be placed in front of your home to save a parking space. We were recently visited by a City bylaw officer after a neighbour complained about cones in front of homes. We are happy to continue supply cones to those of you who live close to the school, as long as you aware that the City can take them away and possibly fine you. If you notice any car parked in front of your home for more than 3 hours, call us at 604-435-3113. We continually remind our staff that they may not park directly in front of any home.
A major detail: We are packing up our school in the next two weeks, and our moving company will be on site during the second week of July to begin shipping our "stuff" to long term storage and to the three sites we will be occupying from September 2016 to January 2018. Demolition, which is a drawn out process, will begin sometime in August and actual construction begins in September. We hope to host a neighbourhood meeting sometime in July to give you information on what to expect and who to contact should there be concerns. Please check our website regularly for information.
And finally: We are hosting a good bye evening for our school on the 29th of June from 7-9 p.m. You can expect more traffic and parking for this event. If you were a student or know of someone who attended the Renfrew annex, you are more than welcome to stop by for a walk around and a piece of cake.
